People Smugglers

May 16, 2008 in border movie

Rape trees are described by border patrol agents as monuments that show illegal immigrants what will happen if they don’t cooperate with “coyotes.”  Coyotes are the people who help illegal aliens cross from Mexico into the United States, and these are not good men. They are drunks and drug addicts who treat these immigrants as “human cargo to be moved.”  When a woman doesn’t do what a coyote says, they risk being raped under a rape tree. The woman has to then hang her panties in the tree, where numerous other panties hang in the wind for all to see. Not only are these women raped, but they are continually shamed by this “monument.”

In addition, an estimated 100,000 girls and boys whose average ages are 7-12 years old, are smuggled into the US and sexually exploited. They are prostituted to migrant workers by coyotes that only see them as an opportunity to make a buck.

Our American government is well aware of the crimes being committed at our nation’s southern border, yet the border is left extremely undermanned. Could it be that our government has an agenda that it isn’t telling us about? Don’t you think it’s curious that only about 11,000 border patrols are sent to keep our country safe from illegal aliens, while NY City alone has over 39,000 police officers? Border movie takes you up close and personal into the heart of these issues and shows Americans, for the first time, what’s really going on at the US-Mexico border.

Increase in Illegal Aliens

Are you aware that there are an estimated 15 million illegal aliens in the United States right now? This number is ridiculously high and it’s steadily climbing. Every single night, “coyotes” help illegal aliens cross the US-Mexico border. And the problem is not just with Mexicans, but this border is becoming more and more popular for Chinese and South Americans who want to sneak into the US. This problem has grown so much that Border Patrol has even had to hire agents who know Portuguese.

There are about 30,000 more police officers patrolling New York City’s 5 boroughs than border patrol agents manning our southern border. Obviously, our government is not doing enough to keep these people out! Could it possibly be clearer that a LOT more needs to be done at the US-Mexico border to protect our country? Where is our government? Where is the man power?  Border movie takes you deep into the action as well as the politics surrounding our country’s most vulnerable spot and shows you what’s really going on – and what isn’t.

Border Agents

New York City enjoys a police force of over 39,000 police officers protecting their 5 boroughs. In sharp contrast, The US-Mexico border has only 11,300 US border patrol agents to find and capture experienced “coyotes,” which are the people responsible for leading illegal immigrants into America. These numbers are appalling, to say the least, and what’s worse is that our government is not taking steps to improve the situation.

When Border movie director, Chris Burgard went to Washington DC to discuss problems at our southern border, he was refused by most politicians. California republican Dana Rohrabacher did speak with Chris, however, and confirmed that illegal immigrants are ruining our country in numerous ways. He reported that illegal immigrants without medical insurance are using our emergency rooms as if they’re HMOs. Our English speaking American children are unable to learn in Californian schools because teachers are giving one-on-one time to the kids who speak Spanish. California jails are crowded by illegal immigrants. And the situation is only getting worse. Some people believe the US is even headed toward another civil as the illegal popular continues to climb.

If you haven’t seen Border, then you probably still believe that lower wages are the worst part of illegal immigration. Border opens up the can of worms and reveals it first hand.
